RETURNS:
All returns must be authorized by Smartchoice within 30 days of the invoice date. Within thirty (30) days of purchase, we will replace or repair, at our sole discretion, any product that is deemed defective. After 30 days, the manufacturers warranty process must be followed.

All non-defective returns authorized by Smartchoice are subject to a 15% restocking fee or $20.00, whichever is greater, and must be returned within 30 days from date of invoice. This includes returns due to or line-of-sight or installation issues.

A RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER (RA#) must be obtained from our customer service staff and is required for ALL returns. Merchandise must be returned within 15 days of the issuance of the RA# at which time the RA# expires. RA#'s are non-renewable. Shipping and return shipping charges are the sole responsibility of the customer and are not refundable.

DEFECTIVE RETURNS:
All defective returns must be authorized by Smartchoice. An RMA must be obtained from Smartchoice within 30 days of the invoice date. Once an RMA is obtained, a replacement item will be shipped to the customer along with a prepaid return services shipping label. A Service Form will also be included and must filled out and signed by the customer. Returns without the Service Form will be charged $40.00 for processing. Customers must return the defective merchandise within 7 days of receipt of the replacement or will be charged the full retail price for the replacement. Returns which are determined by Smartchoice to be not defective will be charged $40.00 for shipping and processing of an invalid return.

PRODUCTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR RETURN UNLESS:

  1. They have been purchased within 30 days. No exceptions.
  2. They are accompanied by all the items that the manufacturer included with the product.
  3. They are in the packaging originally supplied by the manufacturer.
  4. They are returned in the condition originally sent and are not damaged or scratched.
  5. An RMA number has been obtained from our Customer Service Department.
  6. All shipping costs must be paid by the purchaser. No exceptions.
  7. 30-day money back guarantee does not include installation or shipping costs to or from the customer.
  8. Returned systems, which were originally given free shipping, will be not be refunded the actual UPS shipping charges to the customer. Free shipping is only for customers who activate their system and maintain programming.
  9. Returned items, which were originally given free installation, will be not be refunded the actual installation value to the customer. Free installation is only for customers who activate their system and maintain programming for 12 continuous months.

RETURN PROCEDURE:
Contact Smartchoice at customerservice@smartchoice.bz or call us at 1-888-358-7463 (toll-free within U.S.) for a Return Authorization Number (RA#). This number is critical for ensuring that you get fast credit. Please provide:

  1. Original order number (if possible)
  2. Name of product being returned
  3. Reason for return
  4. Your name, daytime phone number, and E-mail address
Smartchoice will either issue the RMA# on the phone or will send you an RA# via E-mail. Pack the goods so they won't be damaged during shipping, in the cartons in which the order was originally shipped. Pack the items exactly as they were shipped to you. Make sure the Return Authorization Number is on the shipping label beneath the address! Returns without an RMA# on the outside of the carton will be refused by our warehouse. Send it to the address listed above.

Use a shipping method which is trackable. All merchandise is the responsibility of the customer until received by Smartchoice.
